Provides education and training for such initiatives in-person, via Webinar, teleconference or other interpersonal communication. Assists, makes recommendations, develops and implements improved clinical procedures and ?best practices? to minimize and prevent future adverse medication events. Presents ADE, ADR, CAT and Intervention Reports to the appropriate UHS Corporate Departments. Facilitates the creation of a Corporate educational program aimed at training pharmacy staff. Facilitates the medication education needs of other healthcare professionals. Ensures that there is an adequate system to track applicable CE records, competencies and licensure both at the facility and corporate level. Provides guidance facilitation to local DOPs in the development of a continuous quality improvement program as related to pharmacy clinical activities.
