Participates in strategic planning and goal setting for the Department of Pharmaceutical Services. Assumes responsibility for the department in the Director's and/or Assistant Director-Operation's absence. Skills/Requirements (Minimum qualifications for the position) A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Michigan licensed pharmacist or eligible. B. Education: Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Pharmacy from a college accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) required. Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD) , ASHP/ACCP accredited Residency or equivalent required. C. Experience: Minimum of 2 year?s post-graduate clinical pharmacist experience in institutional pharmacy; preferably 5 or more years of progressive clinical experience. D Special qualifications: Board Certified in a pharmacy practice specialty preferred. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
