Education: Graduation from a School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a Baccalaureate or PharmD degree. Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency or equivalent. 2. Licensure / Certifications: Current registration and licensure by the State of North Carolina as a pharmacist. 3. Experience: Direct patient care required, pharmacy department will assess. 4. Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Hand-eye coordination; clear speech; knowledge of computer applications. 5. Interpersonal Skills: Good communicator; able to exercise good judgment and accept responsibility for completion of activities that may require extended hours and stressful situations. 6. Essential Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 pounds, walk floors, climb stairs. 7. Essential Mental Abilities: Good judgment, analytical and critical thinking capacity. Work in stressful, demanding work environment 50% of the time. Must be able to maintain and control personal behavior to ensure positive demeanor at all times. 8. Essential Sensory Requirements: Able to use visual, olfactory and auditory senses. 9. Exposure to Hazards: Will be exposed to hazardous chemicals through the preparation of chemotherapy-Special equipment is provided for protection. 10. Other - Hours of Work: Primarily 8, 10, or 12 hour days, evenings or nights; but can be expected to work 8 to 12 hr shifts, rotating shifts, days evenings and nights including holidays/weekends, and multiple sites. 11. Population Served: Will provide care for all age groups from birth through geriatrics.
