As a Pharmacy Technician specializing in Sterile Compounding, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of medications for patients. Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile medications following strict guidelines
• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
• Conduct pharmaceutical calculations to ensure correct dosages
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 
• Formal compound training/certifications (PCCA, ACA, ASHP) an advantage
• Experience in a sterile pharmacy setting 
• Knowledge of drug interactions and drug information
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques

Nice to Have Skills:

• PTCB Certification
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations
• Knowledge of USP 797 guidelines
• Experience in non-sterile compounding
• Ability to perform IV admixture and unit dose dispensing

Salary and Benefits:
