As a Production Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the production activities in the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, and supervising a team engaged in manufacturing processes. If you have strong leadership skills, a solid background in compounding, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize the manufacturing process to meet production schedules and targets.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials, utilities, and other necessary components for production.
- Fulfill monthly and weekly production plans in coordination with the Production Manager.
- Maintain production equipment in optimal working condition and ensure smooth operation.
- Prepare daily reports to track and monitor production activities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with cGMP standards and operational manuals.
- Supervise and train production personnel to maintain high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
- Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacist.
- Experience with non-sterile or sterile compounding is required.
- Strong understanding of cGMP guidelines and production processes.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a team in a production environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM OR 11:00 PM 7:00 AM.
- Rotating weekend shifts, including either Saturday or Sunday on an ongoing basis.
