Are you a dedicated and experienced pharmacist with a passion for compounding? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team at a leading specialty compounding pharmacy. This position offers the chance to work with personalized pharmaceutical preparations, where every medication is tailored to meet the unique needs of the patient.

As a Production Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the production activities in the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, and supervising a team engaged in manufacturing processes. If you have strong leadership skills, a solid background in compounding, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize the manufacturing process to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials, utilities, and other necessary components for production.
  • Fulfill monthly and weekly production plans in coordination with the Production Manager.
  • Maintain production equipment in optimal working condition and ensure smooth operation.
  • Prepare daily reports to track and monitor production activities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with cGMP standards and operational manuals.
  • Supervise and train production personnel to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacist.
  • Experience with non-sterile or sterile compounding is required.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP guidelines and production processes.
  • Proven ability to supervise and lead a team in a production environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Shift Details:
  • Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM OR 11:00 PM 7:00 AM.
  • Rotating weekend shifts, including either Saturday or Sunday on an ongoing basis.
Attendance is crucial for this role, so please ensure you are committed to the schedule.
