Pharmacy Technician

Job Responsibilities:

1. Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
2. Handle and give vaccinations
3. Provide drug information to customers
4. Dispense prescriptions with precision
5. Prepare IV mixtures
6. Hanlde unit dose medications
7. Assist with inpatient pharmacy services
8. Accurately determine when refill medications are available
9. Discuss patient dosing instructions with pet owners

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of long-term care pharmacy practices
• Skilled in non-sterile compounding
• Understanding of pharmacy operations
• Proficient in pharmaceutical calculations
• Ability to work in outpatient pharmacy setting
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions

Salary: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
