Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) – Closed-Door Pharmacy – Columbia, MO
A leading employee-owned closed-door pharmacy specializing in supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead its Columbia-based pharmacy team.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment focused on patient care, operational excellence, and strong collaboration with healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services.
Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, including technicians and support roles.
Ensure strict compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, including controlled substances and privacy laws.
Conduct patient consultations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services.
Oversee medication ordering, dispensing, and inventory management.
Monitor key performance indicators and drive operational improvements.
Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability among the team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
Champion employee ownership culture by promoting engagement and shared success.

Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Missouri.
2–3 years of pharmacist experience, with prior leadership or PIC experience preferred.
Proficient in pharmacy regulations, clinical protocols, and team management.

Pharmacy Hours: Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
