Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

OneCare LTC, LLC is a long-term care pharmacy specializing in providing medications to nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other long-term care communities.

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our lab!

Job Summary:

This individual will be working with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. In addition, they shall assist the registered pharmacist in preparing all sterile compounded medications under direct supervision.

All work must be performed in accordance with USP 795/797/800 procedures and company policies.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain the clean room suite per 797/800 standards, prepare and compound sterile products, assist with inventory management, and ensure proper drug disposal.
• Document IV admixtures and cleanroom suite sterile testing.
• Maintain the compounding lab in compliance with company regulations.

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 1 year of compounding experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
• Sterile compounding experience (required)
• Laboratory experience (required)
• Basic math skills (required)
• Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent is (required)
• A degree in health science is highly desirable (complete or in progress is preferred).

Schedule: Morning shift (8:00am-4:30pm) and Evening Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) *Must work a combination of both shifts* Rotating Saturday shifts are required as well.
