Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team in Ogallala. The ideal candidate is passionate about exceptional patient care, thrives in a community setting, and is eager to play a leadership role in a collaborative, locally driven pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Dispensing & Review
  Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions; conduct drug utilization reviews and ensure patient safety.

• Patient Counseling & Care
  Provide clear and compassionate counseling on medication use, side effects, and adherence. Build lasting relationships with patients and providers.

• Immunizations & Clinical Services
  Assist with immunizations and other clinical offerings.

• Inventory & Workflow Management
  Help manage inventory, optimize stock levels, and contribute to efficient daily operations.

• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
  Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations; uphold pharmacy safety and accuracy standards.

• Community Engagement
  Participate in local health initiatives, community events, and contribute to outreach efforts that support rural healthcare needs.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree

• Licensure:
  Current and valid Nebraska pharmacy license (or eligible to obtain)

• Experience:
  Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred, but not required

• Skills:
  Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
  Proficiency with pharmacy software and medication therapy management
  Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $116,000 – $124,000 (commensurate with experience)
