About Beacon Kalamazoo

Beacon Kalamazoo provides 24/7 emergency care and a Level II Trauma Center. We deliver care for serious life-threatening injuries/illnesses, and your everyday health needs, including labor and delivery. We offer specialty care for heart/vascular disease, lung and sleep disorders, mental health conditions, and women's health. We offer a wide range of outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, lab tests, respiratory therapy and rehabilitation therapy services.

What You'll Do

Pharmacist Job Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders

• Provide clinical pharmacotherapy consults to providers and nursing staff

• Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and efficacy

• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy

• Active Michigan pharmacist license (or eligibility)

• Hospital/inpatient experience

• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
