This direct hire opportunity offers a balanced schedule with a four-day workweek, one weekday off, and rotating weekends. Key Details: Location: Harbor Beach, MI (nearby retail and hospital sites) Schedule: Four days per week, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, one weekday off, rotating weekends Work Split: Approximately 70% retail pharmacy and 30% hospital inpatient pharmacy Software: Pioneer RX (retail), CPSI (hospital), transitioning to EPIC in November Prescription Volume: Around 250 per day; servicing adult foster care and local long-term care facilities Primary Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and pharmacy standards Review medication orders for accuracy, checking for allergies and drug interactions Prepare intravenous admixtures using standardized protocols Provide clear, accurate responses to questions from staff and patients Maintain confidentiality and promote cooperative work practices Adapt to both independent work and team collaboration environments Qualifications and Experience: Graduation from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Valid pharmacist license from the State of Michigan Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred, or strong willingness to learn and develop inpatient skills This position offers a unique combination of retail and hospital pharmacy practice with supportive technology and manageable prescription volume.
