Hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Strong knowledge of drug therapy, contraindications, interactions, and USP sterile standards. Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel. Effective communication, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret medication orders and collaborate with clinical teams. Employee perks: What You Will Do: Provide safe, accurate, and cost-effective medication therapy management across the hospital, fulfilling physician orders, monitoring drug therapy, and supporting medication safety. Prepare and dispense medications according to physician orders and protocols. Interpret, verify, and document written and electronic medication orders. Maintain accurate patient medication profiles. Compound sterile products, chemotherapy, and TPN in accordance with USP . Issue and document controlled substances per regulations. Monitor therapies for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness. Review patient charts and document clinical interventions. Identify and report adverse drug reactions. Consult with practitioners and recommend cost-effective therapeutic alternatives. Participate in medication use reviews, audits, and quality improvement activities. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel. Perform medication storage inspections and remove outdated medications. Support pharmacy automation and technology systems. Collaborate with IS, vendors, Nursing, Billing, and Clinical Informatics. Maintain licensure, CE documentation, competency requirements, and attend meetings. Perform all other duties as assigned.
