JOB TITLE: Staff Pharmacist – Independent Community Pharmacy

LOCATION: Montville, NJ

JOB TYPE: Full-Time / Part-Time

SALARY: $120,000 – $140,000 annually

Barry's Montville Pharmacy has been a cornerstone of the Montville, NJ community for over 30 years, and we're looking for a Staff Pharmacist who shares our passion for personal, relationship-driven care.

This is an independent pharmacy, the way it was meant to be. No corporate scripts, no impossible quotas, no rushing patients out the door. Just a warm, tight-knit team that genuinely cares about the people who walk through our doors — many of whom have been our patients for years.

What You'll Do

• Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions with care and attention to detail
• Provide one-on-one patient counseling on medications, side effects, and interactions
• Offer clinical consultations and support patients in managing their overall health
• Administer immunizations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers on patient care
• Assist with insurance claims and help patients navigate their benefits
• Support the day-to-day flow of the pharmacy and contribute to a positive team environment

Required Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Active New Jersey pharmacist license in good standing
• Immunization certification
• Strong patient counseling and communication skills
• Genuine commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an independent or community pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with insurance claims and prior authorizations
