St. Lukes Health System in Boise is seeking a Medication Assistance Specialist to support our Infusion and Clinic-Administered Medication ( CAM ) programs. This is a unique role for a Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem-solving, patient advocacy, and working closely with clinical teams to remove barriers to care.?

Medication Assistance Specialist responsibilities include:
- Serve as a primary resource for providers and care teams by guiding them throughassistanceprocesses for infusion andclinic-administeredmedications.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate patient enrollment in both internal and external medicationassistanceprograms.
- Support patients by helping minimizeout-of-pocketcosts and ensuringtimelyaccess to essential therapies.
- Coordinate the shipment of free drug to St. Lukes care sites, ensuringaccuratedocumentation,timelydelivery, andappropriate billingworkflows.
- Act as a liaison between patients, providers, revenue cycle teams, and manufacturers to streamline communication and reduce barriers to care.
What to expect:
Location: St. Lukes Plaza Boise
Hours: Full-time/ 40 hours week Hybrid eligible after initial training period
Schedule: M-F, no weekends, no holidays!
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician Registration
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Pharmacy Technician experience I
