Certified Patient Assistance Tech, Pharmacy

JOB SUMMARY

To facilitate the utilization of patient assistance programs and drug replacement programs for qualified patients. To ensure all required billing and documentation is obtained and maintained appropriately. To perform technical duties associated with the preparation and distribution of prescription drugs under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

• High school or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Active license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times
• Ability to communicate with strong interpersonal skills while working with patients
