Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Join a retail pharmacy team in Rathdrum, ID as a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist supporting a high-volume location that fills approximately 300-400 prescriptions daily. This role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a focus on excellent patient care and teamwork. Schedule and Hours: 1st shift Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Saturday shifts come with either Thursday or Friday off) Your Role Includes: Verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently Counseling patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations Delivering outstanding customer service in a retail environment Collaborating closely with a team of 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier using the Pioneer system Qualifications and Experience: Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho Previous pharmacy experience in a retail setting Strong communication and customer service skills Updated resume, professional references, and completed skills checklist Benefits Upon Transition to Full-Time: Paid holidays Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) with 50% employer coverage after 2 months 401(k) plan with a 3% employer match after 1 year Vacation pay This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking a supportive, team-oriented workplace with a structured schedule and potential for long-term employment.
