This role involves working the night shift on a 7 on, 7 off schedule, typically from Thursday through Thursday, from 9 PM to 7 AM. This contract-to-hire position offers a 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire. Key Responsibilities: Perform inpatient pharmacy duties with accuracy and attention to detail Utilize Meditech for order entry to ensure medication orders are processed efficiently Operate Pyxis automation systems for medication dispensing and inventory management Prepare sterile compounded medications adhering to safety and quality standards Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Ohio pharmacy technician license is required National certification as a pharmacy technician Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy settings Hands-on experience with sterile compounding procedures Familiarity with Pyxis automation systems Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off Shift hours from 9 PM to 7 AM Typically works Thursday through Thursday This role allows for dedicated focus during nighttime hours and provides an excellent platform for pharmacy technicians who specialize in inpatient care and sterile compounding.
