Job Title: Pharmacy Manager
Job Location: 3710 State Line Avenue, Texarkana, AR 71854 (Miller Country)
Job Duties: Responsible for overall daily pharmacy operation, including supervising other pharmacy personnel and monitoring performance; taking oral prescriptions over the phone, transferring prescriptions into and out of the pharmacy; processing prescriptions, counseling patients regarding over-the-counter and prescription medication; selecting appropriate medications; compounding prescriptions; reviewing drug utilization and monitoring drug interactions. Fill prescriptions, resolve third-party insurance billing issues, order and receive the daily stock order, and ring up merchandise and prescriptions. Consult with physicians and other prescribers. Immunize patients.
Requirements/Special Skills: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy or related.
Position requires the following:
1. Must have Arkansas State Pharmacist License with no disciplinary record.
2. Must be willing to perform immunizations, training available.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S. EOE.
