Title of Job: Infusion Pharmacy Technician
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
CSI Companies is hiring a Infusion Pharmacy Technician for our Fortune 100 healthcare client in Baton Rouge, LA (near the intersection of Industriplex Blvd and Fieldstone Dr).
Job Summary
The Infusion Pharmacy Technician is primarily responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient fulfillment of prescription and infusion pharmacy orders. This role ensures inventory is properly managed, equipment is calibrated, and all pharmacy operations comply with state and federal regulations.
Pay: $20 - 24 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours: Full Time - Monday-Friday, staggered shifts ranging from 8:30-9:00am start times and 5:00-5:30pm end times

Status:
Temp to Perm position. This position will go permanent with this Fortune 100 company, and upon hire they will be eligible for outstanding benefits, 3 weeks of PTO, extremely low full coverage medical coverage, and much more! When you convert, this could very likely be eligible for a pay increase as well.
Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately
Job Duties:
Fulfill prescription orders by dispensing unit doses, specialty medications, injectables, IV therapies, and related supplies in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies
Process, pack, and ship pharmacy orders, ensuring all medications, supplies, and required patient education materials are accurately included
Support inventory and warehouse functions, including ordering drugs and supplies, maintaining proper storage conditions, and ensuring refrigeration standards are met for perishable products
Monitor, calibrate, and adjust pharmacy equipment to ensure proper functionality and accuracy
Refill and maintain dispensing units to support efficient medication distribution workflows
Requirements
Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous Pharmacy technician experience
Ability to properly read and Explanation of Benefits
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Highly Preferred
Large corporation experience
Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
Experience as a Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician
