Pharmacy Tech III

Shift: Day

Working Hours: 7AM to 4PM M-F

Summary:
A Pharmacy Technician who is licensed to practice as a Pharmacy Technician and is registered with the State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas. This technician will assist the Pharmacist in medication distribution functions, IV compounding, and other duties to enhance hospital-wide patient care.

Other information:
Must have a Pharmacy Technician License with State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas (in good standing)
Has achieved and actively maintains Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or has achieved and actively maintains the ExCPT certification from the NHA
Able to meet or exceed all performance standards of a Pharmacy Technician II
Able to effectively train employees at Tech I or II level
Has completed ASHP Sterile Products Training Module or an equivalent AND has experience compounding sterile products in a licensed pharmacy

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
