Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Emplify Health by Gundersen, is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pharmacy Technician for our Specialty Pharmacy.
What youll do:
Monday-Friday day shifts only; no weekends, evenings, or holidays
Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, coordinate delivery with the other pharmacy locations
Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues as well as nurses, prior authorization specialists, and other support staff
Communicate with patients on the phone or through the electronic medical record monthly to coordinate their medication refills
Document and triage patient problems with medication therapy to the appropriate pharmacist for follow up
Educate patients on specialty pharmacy services
Assist patients in navigating prescription insurance coverage and manufacturer financial assistance programs
Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries

Hourly wage: $18.63-$26.49 based on experience

What youll need:
High school diploma or equivalency
Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program AND at least one year of pharmacy technician experience
Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI
Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire
