This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, working from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a consistent workweek within a dynamic healthcare environment. The pharmacy dispenses between 600 to 700 prescriptions daily, requiring a detail-oriented professional skilled in retail pharmacy operations. Core responsibilities include verifying and accurately filling prescriptions, supervising pharmacy technicians, and counseling patients to ensure safe medication use. The role demands effective multitasking and exceptional communication skills to manage a high-volume setting efficiently. Qualifying candidates will hold an active Michigan Pharmacist license along with a Michigan Controlled Substance license, ensuring full compliance with state regulations. A minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience is required to succeed in this role.
