This assignment requires a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical services while supervising pharmacy staff. Location:

Bridgeton, NJ Schedule:

Days, some evenings, rotating weekends

Start: ASAP

Duration: 8 weeks Key Responsibilities:

Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulations

Monitor patient medication compliance, usage patterns, and address drug-related issues

Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files meticulously

Advise patients on medication use, potential side effects, and answer related questions

Provide consultation on prescription and OTC medications, including storage, dosage, and interactions

Deliver patient services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management

Educate patients on proper use of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters

Compound and prepare sterile medications following established procedures

Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations

Manage pharmaceutical and medical inventory effectively

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Qualifications and Experience:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required

Valid New Jersey State Pharmacy License mandatory

Proven experience in dispensing and patient counseling

Strong knowledge of medication laws and pharmacy operations
