Position SummaryUnder the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician plays an important role in providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services while delivering outstanding customer care.
This position assists with prescription preparation, insurance processing, inventory management, customer service, and daily pharmacy operations. Every interaction contributes to helping patients receive the medications and support they need to live healthier lives.
What You'll Do Key Responsibilities Include:• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage insurance claims and help resolve coverage issues
• Maintain patient medication profiles and pharmacy records
• Assist customers with pharmacy services and over-the-counter products
• Support inventory management, ordering, and stock replenishment
• Receive and verify incoming pharmaceutical shipments
• Maintain medication storage and regulatory compliance standards
• Operate pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and patient-focused pharmacy environment

Pharmacy Technician
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Idaho State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration required
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not required
Certified Pharmacy Technician
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Idaho State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration required
• Current PTCB Certification required
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
