Under the direction of the Mary Rutan Hospital Director of Pharmacy, responsibilities include management of all aspects of Pharmacy services at a newly developed Outpatient Pharmacy location. Candidate will provide leadership in all areas of growing a new retail pharmacy business and associated service lines within the hospital. Candidate will ensure compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations, including Ohio State Board of Pharmacy requirements. Candidate will also ensure compliance with pharmacy operations policies and procedures. Candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of assigned work area(s), function(s), and service(s) and provide supervision and oversight of subordinate employees.
Regulatory Requirements
Minimum of BS in Pharmacy education and licensure by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training.
Appropriate licenses required for the position.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
