Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center is seeking a committed Registered Pharmacy Technician to support our mission of providing vital healthcare and wraparound services to individuals and families throughout New Hampshire.

In this role, you will work under the general direction of the Pharmacist-in-Charge and support daily pharmacy operations at Harbor Care Pharmacy at the Health and Wellness Center . You will help ensure patients receive accurate, timely, and compassionate pharmacy services in a mission-driven, integrated care environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Process refill requests and prescription orders
  • Retrieve prescription files, patient records, profiles, and related pharmacy documentation
  • Verify prescriptions for completion and accuracy
  • Enter prescription orders into pharmacy systems
  • Count, weigh, measure, pour, and reconstitute prescription medications
  • Support medication distribution and patient information management
  • Prepare, dispense, distribute, deliver, and administer medications under the direct supervision of the pharmacist on duty
  • Stock and manage inventory of supplies, prescription medications, and over-the-counter medications
  • Maintain accuracy and precision in all technical and clerical pharmacy functions
  • Protect confidentiality of patient, employee, legal, budget, and organizational information
  • Learn and follow all regulations related to the 340B program
  • Perform similar or related duties as assigned

This is an hourly position reporting to the Pharmacy Manager .

Location: Harbor Care Pharmacy at the Health and Wellness Center
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of retail pharmacy workflow
  • Registered with the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy or eligible to become registered
  • Ability to annually complete all New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized, flexible, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Good oral, written, and reading communication skills
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to function in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to defuse crisis situations
  • Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a medical setting
  • Experience in integrated care or urgent care settings
  • Proficiency using computers
  • Blister/compliance packaging experience
  • Vaccination experience

Additional Requirements

  • Must be of good moral character
  • Must not have been convicted of a drug-related felony or admitted to sufficient facts to warrant such findings
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background screening
