Pharmacy Assistant Employee

Performs pharmacy tasks under the supervision of the Pharmacist. Assists the pharmacist in the activities related to medication order entry, processing, and delivery. Operates cash register competently and handles direct patient contact pleasantly and appropriately.

Job Requirements: Education/Certification/Licensure Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• National certification (CPhT)

Experience Required:

• One year retail experience.

Preferred:

• Previous Pharmacy experience preferred.

Special Skills/Equipment

• Typing and computer skills necessary.
• Must be able to pass a departmentally administered math exam with a grade of 75%.
