This role involves precision dispensing, preparation, and packaging of medications for timely courier pick-up and delivery. Start Dates: June 1 June 8 June 15 Duration: Approximately 8 to 12 weeks, with potential to transition to a permanent position Schedule: 8:00 AM start, working five 8-hour shifts per week Flexibility to start at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM as needed Responsibilities: Accurately dispense medications according to prescription orders in a timely manner Prepare and package prescriptions for courier pick-up while ensuring quality and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient workflow Utilize pharmacy software systems to manage orders and inventory Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license required Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred, bringing valuable skills adaptable to a closed-door setting Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is highly desirable and may lead to automatic consideration National certification is a plus but not mandatory Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure This contract position offers the chance to enhance pharmacy skills in a specialized, closed-door environment, with the possibility of long-term employment.
