Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An experienced retail pharmacist is needed to join a dynamic per diem team supporting multiple well-managed pharmacy locations in the Central California area. This role involves working across various pharmacy sites, ensuring efficient prescription processing and excellent patient care. The position offers a nearly full-time schedule with flexible locations within a reasonable daily commute. Responsibilities: Manage medium to high volume retail pharmacy prescriptions Provide accurate dispensing and counseling in a timely manner Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare teams for smooth operations Utilize Rx30 software to process and manage prescriptions Float between several pharmacy sites, including Fresno, Parlier, Reedley, Sanger, Selma, Kerman, Orange Cove, and Madera Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 6 months of retail pharmacy practice experience Licensed pharmacist in California Proficiency with Rx30 pharmacy software preferred Spanish language skills are strongly preferred but not required, as pharmacy technicians provide bilingual support Comfortable commuting within 30-40 minutes of Fresno, with occasional travel to additional sites that offer mileage reimbursement Schedule: Monday through Friday shifts 3-4 shifts per week with 20+ shifts monthly, approaching full-time availability Location: Primarily based near Fresno, CA, covering surrounding smaller communities This contract opportunity offers competitive pay and a chance to be part of a dedicated float pharmacist group servicing multiple pharmacy locations.
