The Executive Advisor, Pharmacy Consultants Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day interactions with pharmacy consultants and analytic vendors, driving strategic insights through data and reporting, and strengthening partnerships to support business growth. This role reports to the Senior Director of Broker Relations and serves as a central point of coordination between internal teams, vendors, brokers, and client outcomes, ensuring seamless communication, effective execution, and clear demonstration of value in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Operational Management
Create and maintain all vendor-related activity tracking, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and real-time updates.
Manage high-volume communication with vendors, including pricing requests, follow-ups, issue resolution, and meeting coordination.
Coordinate vendor RFP requests by translating requirements for the pricing team and facilitating clear, timely communication between vendors and internal stakeholders.
Track and follow up on open items such as proposals, deliverables, payments, and reporting requests.
Coordinate across internal teams (sales, clinical, analytics, finance, pricing) to ensure timely responses and alignment with vendor needs.
Organize and facilitate vendor meetings, regular touchpoints, ongoing communications, and owning and following up on action items.
Strategic Data & Reporting
Develop and maintain reporting that provides visibility into:
Frequency and type of vendor interactions
Vendor utilization across clients and brokers
Win/loss outcomes tied to vendor engagements
Identify and close gaps in vendor-related data, including:
Timing and circumstances of vendor engagement by clients/brokers
Overlap of multiple vendors within a single client
Translate data into actionable insights that inform leadership decisions and go-to-market strategies.
Continuously improve tracking systems and reporting processes for scalability and clarity.
Growth & Market Differentiation
Analyze vendor performance and engagement trends to identify opportunities for increased visibility and market share.
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop strategies that position the organization as a preferred vendor partner.
Support efforts to expand presence and success within vendor marketplace platforms (e.g., RFPs, submissions, pricing strategies).
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve responsiveness to vendor-driven opportunities.
Vendor Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key vendor partners and pharmacy consultant relationships.
Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions.
Ensure vendors understand and effectively communicate the organizations clinical value proposition and cost-saving impact.
Collaborate with vendors to improve alignment, transparency, and mutual success.
Proactively identify and address relationship risks or gaps.
Required Skills / Experience:
36+ years of experience in vendor management, account management, operations, or a related role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of communication and competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams
Analytical mindset with experience building or interpreting reports and datasets
Proficiency in Excel or similar tools; experience with CRM (Salesforce)
Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive execution independently
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or a related industry
Experience working with pharmacy consultants, data analytics, pricing coordination
Familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience managing external partnerships or client-facing relationships
Exposure to financial tracking, invoicing, or commission processes
Six Sigma certification or similar experience with using data driven methods to create and improve processes for efficiency

Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $105 ,600 to $132 ,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
