Responsibilities:
To assist the Director of Pharmacy Services in the day-to-day functions of the pharmaceutical services department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Key Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent; prior pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Must possess license, register, or certification from the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam or a Board of Pharmacy approved exam in the state where facility is located.
Must fulfill continuing education requirements per state requirements.
