Specialty Pharmacist
Location: Collierville, TN
Position Type: Full-Time, Contract (With potential conversion to FTE)
Schedule: Monday Friday (No weekends, no holidays!)
Pay Rate: $58.60 / hour
Setting: Fully Onsite (Free parking provided)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, motivated, and patient-driven Registered Pharmacist to join a premier Specialty Pharmacy team in Collierville, TN. If you are passionate about helping patients on their path to better health and want to dive into the dynamic field of specialty pharmacy, this role is for you.
In this position, you will provide clinical excellence and exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, while offering vital leadership and guidance to supporting colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Lead the daily activities of the pharmacy team regarding both clinical and distributive operations.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure all pharmacy activities align strictly with company standards, Accreditation Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory constraints.
Medication Verification: Perform accurate verification of all specialty medications being dispensed.
Patient Care: Manage patient clinical care plans, specializing in complex disease states such as HIV, Hepatitis C, Oncology, and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Issue Resolution: Evaluate and triage complex customer service issues involving patients, providers, and vendors to ensure prompt, appropriate resolutions.
Growth & Partnerships: Drive key clinical and sales initiatives, build strong partnerships with manufacturers, and help develop strategies to grow and retain business.
Required Qualifications
Education: Pharmacy degree from an accredited college/school of pharmacy.
Licensure: Active Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee, in good standing.
Autonomy: Proven ability to work effectively with minimal direction as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a Specialty Pharmacy setting.
