Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Pharmacist Resident is an active participant in an intensive 12 month post-graduate year one (PGY1) training program to develop extensive knowledge and clinical skills used to provide effective pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist resident functions as a clinical pharmacist, participating in clinical, operational, and administrative activities designed to assist in applying formal theoretical education and research to clinical patient situations. The resident is responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, is eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
Job Requirements Bachelors Of Science
Graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) approved school of pharmacy including didactic courses and experiential rotations in the clinical aspects of pharmaceutical care

Clinical services provided include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level III nurseries), surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorder services.
