Job Summary: * Verify & dispense prescription medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners. Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications including drug interactions, side effects, and other questions related to patients medications/supplements. *Job Responsibilities/Tasks* * Performs pharmacist tasks including drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management. Reviews, interprets and accurately dispenses prescribed medications. * Strong communication skills and outgoing personality * Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves patients questions or issues in a timely manner. * Develops strong relationships with customers by focusing on patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and perform services such as immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness * Counsels patients and answers their questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, and over-the-counter products * Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, company policies and standards. * Ensures the accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve customer issues and prevent payment rejections. * Follows-up with insurance companies as well as medical providers * Promotes teamwork and motivates team members *Minimum Required Qualifications * * Active Pharmacy License in the state of NJ * Doctorate of Pharmacy degree * Flexible schedule including weekend availability * Experience with Best Rx preferred . * No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60.00 - per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * * Bachelor's (Preferred) * Licensed Pharmacist (Preferred) Work Location: One location
