Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Pharmacy Technician for a 13 week contract at a Pharmacyal Health in Columbus, OH.

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday - 8a - 5p

Duties Include:

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician work involves inventory management, preparing medications for a pharmacist final check, delivering medications to patient areas, conducting medication area inspections, providing technical assistance, and performing clerical duties.

Provides guidance to others as needed.

Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment within the boundaries allowed by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsible for adhering to standards of professional, legal, and ethical practice and all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and/or guidelines of the hospital, HHSC and Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.

Requirements:

Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work.

Experience with medication room inspections preferred.

Experience with manual and automated medication repackaging preferred.

Current license as a State Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy license
