Chemotherapy Infusion Pharmacy Tech

We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Chemotherapy infusion pharmacy technician to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will support the preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy and hazardous medications in accordance with USP and USP standards, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

What You'll Do:

• Accurately prepare, label, and compound chemotherapy and hazardous drug admixtures in a sterile environment.
• Maintain compliance with USP and , including proper use of PPE and cleanroom protocols
• Perform routine cleaning and environmental monitoring of sterile compounding areas
• Support inventory management for chemotherapy and hazardous medications
• Ensure all documentation and records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery to oncology patients
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all hospital, state, and federal regulations

What You'll Bring/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
• State Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience required; oncology/chemo experience strongly preferred
• Completion of a chemo/hazardous drug handling training program is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
