Responsible for medication orders and dispensation. Pharmacists process prescriptions in computer systems, prioritize supply shipments, manage inventory, and ensure that all practices regarding medications and their distribution comply with laws and regulations. Depending on the work environment, they may administer vaccinations, prepare compounded medications and IVs, or perform complex dose calculations.
