Job Summary: As the Pharmacy Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of our pharmacy department. Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a positive and health-conscious atmosphere. Examples of Duties:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including prescription dispensing, counseling, labor budgets and other pharmacy services.

Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring a high level of competence, professionalism, and customer service including hiring Pharmacy Technicians and Student Pharmacists.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.

Oversee inventory management, order medications, and maintain stock levels.

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

Conduct health and wellness screenings, administer vaccinations, and provide other pharmacy services.

Implement and promote health and wellness initiatives.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of pharmacotherapy, pharmacology, and the practice of pharmacy.

Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practices.

Familiarity with insurance plans and billing procedures.

Awareness of health and wellness trends and initiatives.

Leadership principles and effective team management skills.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software.

Attention to detail in prescription dispensing and patient counseling.

Strategic planning and problem-solving skills.

Abilities:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.

Adherence to ethical and professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy program.

Current and valid pharmacist license in the state of Idaho or Wyoming where applicable.

Previous experience as a licensed pharmacist, managerial experience is a plus.

Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software.
