Clinical Pharmacist - Evening Shift

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Pay Rate: $82.00 - $86.50/HOUR

Assignment Length: 10-12 Months

Shift: Evenings | 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a long-term contract opportunity with a nationally recognized pediatric healthcareanization. This position will support project coverage within a hospital pharmacy setting and offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness

Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards

Perform sterile and non-sterilepounding activities

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to ensure safe and effective patient care

Maintainpliance with USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 standards

Support inventory management, controlled substance documentation, and pharmacy operations

Utilize EPIC and pharmacy systems to document and manage workflow

Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians as needed

Qualifications

Active California Pharmacist License required

Experience in a hospital, acute care, or home infusion setting required

Pediatric experience preferred

EPIC experience strongly preferred

Retail-only experience will not be considered

Strong knowledge of sterilepounding practices and pharmacy regulations

Excellentmunication andanizational skills

This role is supporting a special project initiative

Pharmacists may work across split locations; additional details will be discussed during the interview process

Pay Details: $82.00 to $86.00 per hour
