Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract role in Tucson, AZ a hospital. In this position you will support pharmacists in medicion distribution, inventory, and preparion tasks. Responsibilities include transport of pharmaceuticals, preparion of unit dose exchange systems, inventory and stocking, ordering supplies, and preparion of IV admixtures. Activities must follow ste and federal regulions, DEA rules, TJC standards, and hospital policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualificions:

• Current ste pharmacy technician license required.
• 1-2 years inpient hospital pharmacy technician experience required.
• CPht required.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Omnicell experience preferred.

Preferred Qualificions:

• PTCB certificion preferred.

Assignment Details

• Variable 10-hour shifts with 10.5 hours including meal break; typical start times include 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 10:00 AM.
• Schedule includes day, evening, and weekend coverage.
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Impacting Pient Care

Your role will directly support pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure accure and timely medicion delivery. Work will influence medicion safety, inventory control, and operional efficiency in an inpient hospital setting. Expect to follow regulory and accredition standards while performing dispensing and sterile/non-sterile preparion tasks.
