Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday (1-hour lunch)
Location: Redlands, CA, 92374 – California License Required
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently filling prescription orders, managing inventory, and supporting various operational functions within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Prescription Fulfillment & Order Processing
Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently using the in-house pharmacy system.
Utilize both manual counting methods and automated counting devices (e.g., EYECON) for accurate dispensing.
Assist pharmacists with scanning and labeling of medications.
Review prescriptions for special instructions (e.g., safety caps, required documentation).
Adhere to Pharmacy Technician protocols and sign annual compliance documentation.
Replenish stock and perform maintenance and cleaning on pill counting equipment.
Inventory & Compliance Management
Manage inventory including purchasing, receiving, tracking, and reconciliation of medication and supply stock.
Perform cycle counts, product put-away, replenishment tasks, and SOX documentation.
Monitor and manage short-dated and expired medications.
Handle return goods according to standard operating procedures.
Track product trends and supply shortages to maintain optimal stock levels.
Operational Support
Ensure pick and pack stations are fully stocked with appropriate medications and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of back stock and dispensing refrigerators.
Support the Operations Assistant team by supplying packing materials and assisting with packing, shipping, and light cleaning (10–20% of the workday).
Assist with receiving and posting of shipments under the direction of inventory personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Active California Pharmacy Technician License (screenshot of license required with resume)
High school diploma or GED (verifiable)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in basic math and data entry.
Comfortable with computer systems and inventory software.
Able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
Must be able to lift 50–70 lbs occasionally (5–10% of the workday).
